Why is early education important?

Early Childhood is an important time when it comes to children’s development. Exposure to their environment, hearing sounds, and learning the building blocks of language all play key roles in a child’s growth and development during this period. Early childhood education helps children master many important life skills from a young age, such as complex thinking skills, having the courage and resilience to think differently, being geared towards solving problems and having the skills to communicate and resolve conflicts. Children also develop a strong social conscience and an awareness of the environment, their peers, and the world around them.

Why is wellness important to your families?

Wellness is extremely important to our families. Our community is a thriving coastal community with fabulous beaches, sporting facilities and parks. Our centre is proud to have a qualified Chef providing a wide variety of nutritionally balanced, freshly prepared meals to our children in addition to a tasty afternoon snack provided for our busy families.

What is special and unique about your team?

Our team is made up of passionate, caring co-workers who build strong relationships with our children and families. Every member of our team brings something special and unique which, when brought together ensures fun, thoughtful, and engaging experiences for all our children.

What do you love about the Currambine community?

The Currambine community is caring and supportive which is continued in our centre through strong, positive relationships between our families and co-workers. Our centre has strong links with our local Primary Schools to support our children transitioning to the next stage of their educational journey. Currambine is a diverse community which is demonstrated by the many cultural celebration we have at the Centre.
